The Steam Star Wars library is even more varied, including games like X-Wing and Tie Fighter for 60 percent off. Rebel Assault I+II can be yours for 60 percent off, with Shadows of the Empire marked down by 66 percent. You’ll find the usual mix of LEGO, pinball and FPS Star Wars content in the mix, but the real draw here are the collections. You can get pretty much all of the games for 72 percent off, or $76.16 grand total. There’s also a collection for “Classic” games, the X-Wing series and the Jedi Knight collection.
Within the Deadpool mythology, Weasel (real name Jack Hammer) is one of the more important characters, typically serving as Deadpool’s best friend, although their dynamic is such as that Deadpool frequently mistreats Weasel and Weasel is so self-interested that his schemes often screw Deadpool over. Within the X-Men film universe, T.J. Miller’s Weasel runs a bar that is frequented primarily by mercenaries, including Wade Wilson pre-body scarring. After he gained his special abilities and a face that looked like an avocado had sex with an older, more disgusting avocado, Wade visited Weasel to tell him he was still alive. While their friendship is more healthy than it is in the comics, when it came time for Wade to rescue Vanessa from Ajax and Angel Dust’s clutches, Weasel didn’t tag along simply because he didn’t want to.
The 3D experience, while not essential to all Hollywood blockbusters, can be something that elevates what would have been just another theatrical experience, into something truly spectacular. Films like Avatar, The Martian and even Doctor Strange have used the medium to fantastic results, making us truly believe in the magic of the third dimension. 2018 already promises to be a pretty big year for movies in general, but the 3D playing field looks like it’s going to be just as competitive, if not more so, than that very measure.
Because Robert Karaguziean has over 43,000 fans and customers, the artist believes his outreach his prominent enough that Kendall Jenner, DJ Daniel Chetrit, and Apple would know about it and subsequently try to copy it. Now that Kendall Jenner and her crew have started this show, Karaguziean has noticed an influx of social media users who reach out to him believing he’s involved with Pizza Boys Radio, only to reportedly “lash” out at him when it’s revealed to them that he’s a different artistic operation altogether. The PIZZABOYZZZ creator also wants a reward for damages suffered by Pizza Boy Radio‘s infringement, as well as any profits they have made so far.
At the conclusion of the new film, only one member of the Guardians is left standing. Rocket has survived while Groot, Drax, Mantis and Star-Lord have all fallen victim to the Infinity Stones. In addition to that, Gamora was killed by Thanos as a sacrifice in order to obtain the Soul Stone. At this point, the expectation is certainly that the use of the Infinity Gauntlet will somehow be reversed, bringing back to life all, or at least many, of those that were taken by it. If that happens, it may bring the rest of the Guardians back, but it will still leave Gamora dead. (Or not. Anything’s on the table at this point.)
Speaking of which, this year’s inductees will join the steadily growing list of current members, such as Donkey Kong, Doom, The Oregon Trail, The Legend of Zelda, Pac-Man and, of course, Pong. Looking ahead, we figure the games that didn’t make the cut this year will be up for consideration again in 2019. But if four games need to fill the vacated spots on the roster, what do you think they should be? Let us know in the comments below.
If you have ever been to an airport, then you have definitely seen this arrival/departure boards before. That said, you have probably never seen one quite like this. The folks at Heathrow seem to have gotten into the Star Wars Day spirit in honor of May 4, because the boards have been changed to showcase some fan-favorite Star Wars locations. All of the classics are represented, with planets like Tatooine, Hoth, Kamino, and Endor all represented, not to mention the Death Star, though that one apparently might be a trap.
YouTube is reporting that 5.4 million people watched the first episode of Cobra Kai over the course of its first day live. The numbers YouTube executive Susanne Daniels reported to Decider are beyond impressive. While YouTube Red requires a paid monthly subscription, the first two episodes of the series were made available for free, which could play into the numbers. Albeit, that factor does nothing to diminish YouTube Red’s accomplishment. Without the stellar promotion of its quality project, there would be no interest to begin with.
Yesterday, the Deadpool 2 marketing campaign reached peak irony, absurdity and, surprisingly, poignancy, with the music video for the song Ashes from the film’s soundtrack, performed by the iconic Celine Dion. The soaring and emotional song would be right at home in any romantic drama as would the music video, with the exception of a lithe and dancing Deadpool. We wondered if it could possibly be Ryan Reynolds performing the dancing in the video, and now we know that no, Van Wilder’s skills do not extend to interpretive dance. Ryan Reynolds confirmed that he was not the danseur and gave a shoutout to the man who was in his usual hilarious fashion, saying:
It’s no secret that superhero movies are everywhere. While there are currently three shared universes fighting for box office dominance, the X-Men franchise was way ahead of the game. While new installments still being released in theaters, the X-Men movies go all the way back to 2000 with Bryan Singer’s original blockbuster. Singer adapted the beloved Marvel heroes for the silver screen, helping to launch the careers of actors like Hugh Jackman in the process. The director/producer is still involved in the franchise today, and he recently shared a sweet photo from the set of X-Men. Check it out below.
