Netflix has released a new trailer for House of Cards Season 5 and so much is going on. If you are not caught up on House of Cards, it might be best to avoid this new video. Spoilers below the video.
Frank Underwood (Kevin Spacey) is the President of the United States–and he’s facing some tough times, it seems. “The American people don’t know what’s best for them,” he says, as scenes of protesters standing outside the White House carrying “Never Underwood” signs gather.
“They’re like little children,” he says to Claire (Robin Wright). “We have to hold their sticky fingers and wipe their filthy mouths. Teach them right from wrong. Tell them what to think and how to feel and what to want. They even need help writing their wildest dreams.”
“One nation, Underwood.”
As Frank is saying all of this, dramatic scenes play like Frank meeting someone in some kind of institution, Frank and Claire attending a wedding, Frank meeting with someone in secret in the rain, and so much more.
House of Cards Season 5 premieres on May 30.
